Boulder to revisit ban on pot shops having own merchandise

Although I understand both sides of this argument, I think even the commercial speech rights of the business owners trump the arguments against.  Although Joe Camel may have been a ubiquitous incitement to young people to smoke, I don’t see the same ever-present advertising for pot that pervaded the country with nicotine.  In short, I don’t think you can equate the two truthfully without lazy and anecdotal analysis.  Until an actual health hazard can be found to exist as a result of independent and rigorous scientific study, commercial speech must be allowed in the marketplace.
